Sculpture restoration is work we love — returning sculpture and art objekts to the best they have ever looked, drawing on expertise built up in New Zealand and through international training. It’s part of our commitment both to you and to the artist’s work.
Sculptures most often fall into a poor state when they have lacked attention for some time. When that happens, they may need either minor or major repair and restoration.
We hold a commitment to high-quality work — whether it’s a smaller repair or a major restoration that includes stripping a large sculpture back and applying a new patina (a chemically induced colour applied to the surface of bronze).
While we are experts at sculpture repair and restoration, our preference is that quality contemporary sculpture is proactively and comprehensively maintained to avoid problems in the first place. We handle that through our preventative ObjektCare Programme.
